Ron Ball Refrigeration has put steps in place to help assure our staff and customers safety during these difficult times.
Prior to removing our tools from the back of the truck, we apply hand sanitizer. We do have gloves and reusable masks that are at our disposal if you wish for us to use them. We are no longer disposing of furnace filters for our customers. They will be left at your house. This will help reduce the risk of cross contamination.
We have temporarily closed the office to the public. Please click here if you require information on payments during this time.
We are doing the best we can to combat the evolving situation. Please be courteous to us and let us know if you are under any mandatory quarantine or exhibiting any symptoms.
We are now offering doorstep drop off for furnace filters. We realize that due to store closures, it is difficult to get filters for your HVAC system, and we are here to help.
We have a very wide selection of filters to choose from. They range in price from $2 to $1500. We have set up a small website through which you will be able to order your filters, and a few other items. If you do not see the filter that you require, or have questions about air purifiers, please contact us at the bottom of this page.
Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) is a rating system designed to inform you how well a filter can clean the air. It has a scale of 1-20. 20 being the best.
The chart below will help you determine which filters can actually capture a virus from the air in your house.
Viruses can range in sizes. Most commonly, they have a diameter of 0.02 to 0.3 Microns in size. From my research, the Covid-19 virus is approximately 0.125 Microns in size.
